Enter John Walker, a pioneer in corporate ambulance chasing, who is out rattling the cage for $30 million to fund the next round of class actions. Diversification is a big element here, with litigation funders having very little correlation with other mainstream segments of financial markets and economic cycles. Walker's company Investor Claim Partner has a solid track record and he's out and about meeting investors in Sydney this week for ICP's second unlisted litigation fund, sources said. The fund has its eye on three new targets - Vocus Communications, cattle exporter Wellard and financial services group IOOF. All three are named in an investor presentation, obtained by Street Talk, as likely targets in situations where shareholders have lost plenty on paper. "
