I fully realise how long it takes to get a pharmacutical product to market. I have worked in the industry , in validation, twice during mining downturns, once for Chemeq ( picked up a nice redundancy for that).
I bought on the thoughts that this will not move materially for a min of 4 yrs, we are only coming up to 3 yrs soon. The FDA process is very ardous as it should be, but the rewards rich if all hurdles are passed.
The sell side can be expained due to the board owning the far majority of shares, meaning the retail investors have decided to hold now due to reduced sell volume.
I think there is some learnings from Dr Melrose after what happened previously with the bondholders. Even now they have basically reduced /stopped the lending allowance from the American body. They R&D concessions now are very generous enabling this. If and when phase 1 trials begin a big investor or industry player may get on board if they feel this has good merit and product development potential.
Hey this is a speccy that has the possibility of great potential in the particular drug market they are targeting.
I have over 1 yr to my targeted prognosis on my investment, happy at the moment to sit and wait.
