Because this is the ASX casino where every now and then (usually on a Friday) the SP is manipulated down to a point where it triggers stop loss settings (usually recommended to be 5%). There is often some background flimsy reason promoted and the non holders come out in force to add to the misinformation and fake news. This usually creates a "buy Friday, sell next week opportunity".
