I’m in the red on this. Been around since the potash days.
If you look at it based on increase it’s a good result. Most people would be happy with 50% increase in revenue. Growing a business takes time and sales people are bullish. To them a CM is an inch!
That said, in my current job, I’ve made my business more cash this year than last year. But the ceo looks at percentages. So this year I only made 9%. Last year was 13% (examples as I’m pissed). Reality is last year I made him $600k before tax. This year $1.1m before tax.
It’s all perception. Or drunk ramblings.
