I havent said that Sinopec WILL back out. I stated a position IF they back out. There is a difference.
I believe that your assumption that the deal is worth $600m in cash to AED is wrong. AED have never said that this is the case. I am sure that if there was cash of $600m then AED would be stating this as often as they could.
Food for thought as to why they cant bring themselves to quote the actual deal cash number.
