    Are you based in the USA?
    i.e have you bought Danakali shares in the USA?

    Great news if you have.

    I think you kind of answered your own questions when you said ... is it because it is so shallowly traded, that small volumes can push the stock price around pretty easily.
    Definitely on the OTC markets in the USA.

    The UK markets are a little different, note that the trades are quoted as 'off-book' so it may not be a true reflection of market forces.
    I'm not entirely sure of how it works in the UK but the market maker at Numis could put a price through at whatever he desires (within reason) so long as he has a willing buyer and seller.

    Transaction costs might be to blame here because they may be buying stock in Oz (with fees) and then flipping them to clients in the UK at higher prices.

    You may see the reverse if the client wanted to sell.......i.e they might get a price that is 7% below the last traded price.
