Great Deal

I thought the deal was a very good deal for the following reasons .
1.The deal with Acadia pharmaceuticals is worth up to $1 billion dollars for America (only includes USA,Canada and Mexico.I liked the fact that Acadia has $230 mill in the bank and their major shareholder Baker Brothers has $16 billion in biotech investments .
2.I am sure pharma companies around the world will be ringing Dr T to put their hat in the ring for the rest of the world .
3.Does anyone seriously believe that Neuren could have raised $93 million to get trofinetide through Phase 3.
4.There was obviously a bit of hot money in the stock who hoped for a big up front payment which did not eventuate .A $100 million up front would take approx $400 mill off the potential milestones payments.
5.It is very easy for the keyboard warriors to have a go at Neuren directors and management .It has been my experience that there are plenty of people who think they are experts but unfortunately they could not run a chook raffle.
