I know it’s easy to get caught up in watching the price of a stock on a daily basis. Especially for those new to investing, and for those that are not exactly well off. Most of us just want to improve our lot in life, and when we invest and commit we want to believe that the choices we make will turn out in our favor.

Fact is, you can do all the research, study the trends and keep informed on industry news and still come away worse off in the long run. No risk, no reward as the cliche flies.

My perspective on Kidman is that it is healthy and well positioned - for the future. When getting in at or near the bottom with a stock like this - you have to be willing to wait. I think that is where most people fall over - a long wait to them is 3 to 6 months.

If I were to re-invest in Kidman, I held a small amount at $2.25 - watched it go up a bit and sold again at the same price when it began its recent descent as I needed the money elsewhere, I would be looking at that 2020/2021 timeline and consistently buying along the way.

I don’t believe in miracle stocks that triple in value over 3 to 6 months. You may as well be looking to find a unicorn. You have to align your expectations with the timelines given by the company - they will not get there quicker just because you may want it to happen that way.

So long story short, buy when you have money to do so. Buy consistently at any price at or below your long term expectation for stock price, and while you will check in from time to time, there is no point wailing about stock price in 2018 when your long term position is not expected to be met for another 3 years. If three years seems like forever to you, than you have invested in the wrong stock and you may want to consider alternatives.
