I have been a shareholder of PTN since its inception on the ASX last August.
Before buying shares in PTN – I did some thorough research and due diligence into the Aged Care industry – and examined both PTN and BBC as possible investments.
I decided to put my hard earned money into PTN (ahead of BBC) as I had and still do have much more faith and belief in the (PTN) management versus BBC. They are clearly better operators than their rivals and this is evident in their most recent results. With Australia's ageing population continuing to soar – I knew this would be a great investment – with so much organic growth potential!
I’m absolutely baffled as to how and why BBC share price moved so strongly on day of the recent results announcement after coming out with just average results – and then the next day when PTN make their announcement and deliver once again very impressive results – the SP had barely any support?
I just got back from a holiday overseas, and I have just reviewed and compared the recent results of both these companies – and there is certainly a stand out achiever – that being PTN.

You don’t have to be Warren Buffet to know which of these is the better performing. I have been accumulating more and more recently. I mean why wouldn't you want to be buying at these levels (60cps)….which essentially represents a circa 14% yield?
