The big problem for verdant is that for a million tonnes of dso ammaroo is 360m which is very expensive capex and the opex will be at the higher end of Rock phos producers per tonne, does that make it a compelling investment decision?
I think verdant has underestimated how hard it is to crack the the phosphate market, to date they don't have any institutional investors with leverage to the industry, I'm very sceptical that they will get finance unless they can go up the value chain.....
