I’d like to add my acknowledgement along with Pizza 8686, KVZ and others in relation to the very respectful and balanced post put up by Big Daniel.
Whilst I agree that the Bas’s of the world have played a significant role with bringing to the surface via their contrarian views some unanswered QBL questions I have now decided that the sheer negativity half glass full and endless repetitiveness of these types of posts has forced my hand and accordingly Bas and co are now cooling their heels with others on my Ignore list.
I’d also like to reflect briefly on the QBL release back in February that particularly captured my imagination and this was the Medical Cannabis Research Group Pty Ltd (MCRG) agreement with the Technion Research & Development Foundation for the performance of research by Prof. David (Dedi) Meiri in Haifa Israel.
I for 20 years, give or take have had a particular interest in venture capital investing which is definitely NOT for the faint hearted.
On that basis, for obvious reasons it’s even MORE imperative that the DD in relation to a company in which I have an interest is handled with great scrutiny because once the funds have been committed your exit strategy is very limited.
Which brings me to when the $3 million over the 3 years announcement surfaced and I remember saying to my long term investment suffering wife that this development which for me is almost venture capital in its nature i.e. if may or may not happen, could be one of the smartest medium to long term investment decisions that I have ever seen.
IMHO the QBL/MCL directors via their Israeli contacts have made a decision to help in financial terms the ongoing immunology research which could, and I repeat could help alleviate some insidious diseases affecting mankind. And IF it happens to be the Haifa team that crack one of those nuts the ROI on that $3million could be astronomical. Time will tell.
So to sum up, I'm extremely encouraged by the foresightedness of this type of decision and without mentioning the positiveness of the hemp developments and the possibility of the bauxite play coming to the surface I for one am extremely comfortable with the general progress and restructuring that this company is now going through.
