Thanks for the News.com link regarding the shorting story on ASIC & ASX being asleep at the wheel and brokers going bust Sabine. Maybe now this aspect of the financial/investment industry which is mauling the KDR market cap will be drawn into the current banking Royal Commission?
More news today on the Arab syndicate talks with our major/only OT partner Tesla on the move towards privatisation. The link (courtesy of a PLS poster) is https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/34913235/single

Makes interesting reading with Elon outlining how a possible privatisation would effect ordinary holders. In effect, he suggests existing holders have the option of retaining their holdings in the new Tesla structure, or accept a cash offer of $420 per share (calculated as current SP + 20%). He expects an outcome of two thirds ownership remaining with current holder who choose to remain. Interesting to consider, makes one think about his logic in relation to KDR and its currently shorted SP?

If this Tesla privatisation goes ahead and Arab interests become involved, I'm wondering how this might effect KDR plans & future, as there must surely be some impact from such a game changer? Also, could this have anything to do with the latest focus of shorters on lithium companies and on KDR in particular? Thoughts?
