This is the great unknown IMO. For mine they need a minimum of the CLC agreement signed, ML’s granted and refinery site selected and moving forward (Darwin or offshore).
To offtake would be a massive bonus I think as for financing - highly unlikely before the AGM in my opinion, just not enough time between the ML grant and the AGM to put together $900M of finance - don’t believe any of the “it’s all lined up to go” guff as no financial group will even start working on their DD until the project is de-risked technically and corporately - so ML’s granted etc. why would they?
