Maybe some instos are expecting a bit of a retreat for the oil price soon? Some retracement almost certain at some point. That usually results in a bit of aknee jerk in the SP markets. Could be too that some foreign investors who like oil stocks are bailing Oz, after a long stay Oz dollar goes down in response to likelihood of no more rate rises and possible cuts. $A always seen in USA as a commodity gold proxy too. Just speculation on my part tho.
