IMO, without doubt this is correct. Spec stocks, for the most part, have been killed over the last 6 to 12 months. Spec miners, spec pot, spec tech... all suffering huge losses from their giddy highs. It's a bear market for specs, and as others have pointed out, BIG and GSW have no doubt played their role in bringing all others back to Earth. On the plus side, it's a great buying op for those who were liking a stock but at the peaks were finding the risk/reward levels unpalatable.
