I can't see that they would want to walk away but even if they did, they can't. They have executed and completed a legally binding agreement with COP. I would imagine that their lawyers will have spent a fair bit of time working out what is their redress against COP if they are eventually shown the door. I would also imagine that they have given a fair bit of creative thought as to what costs they have incurred post the COP deal.
