FWIW Savage river pipe magnetite to the coast over some pretty rugged country
The Savage River Mine comprises three sites; the mine which includes the ore crushing plant and prepares magnetite concentrate, the concentrate pipe line that transfers the slurry for 83 kms to the Port Latta Pelletising Plant where the ore is processed and loaded onto cargo ships via a 1.6 km long, off-shore loading platform.
