the property data groups say houses went up x% for the year...sure. i have not seen a developer sell units for x% more that they could last year, if anything they are discounting to get the stuff off their books. the data is linked to the median house price and that figure is a total joke as it bundles a one off high price property in with general sales. this distorts the real numbers in a suburb.
