Battery sizes are going up. So a 35kwh average is probably going to be a bit low by 2024/2025 when the maximum gradient of the S curve is starting to be approached around then. Solid state batteries will require more lithium too.
One really important point is in regards to supply. Everyone knows that treating company plans and timelines as gospel (as Morgan Stanley does) is a complete fallacy when empirically, one can look at past history and see that 2/3 of projects get some form of delays. Even a single year of delays is absolutely massive in this rapid EV growth phase.
