You really have to lay off the 5th Gen stuff as most of 5th Gen is regarding the HPAL circuit, the refining component varies at all plants whether it be mixed MHP, separated MHP, mixed sulphides, refined powders and briquettes or sulphates as AUZ and CLQ are proposing. Firms use a few different forms of refining to meet these requirements. While Sherritt also work towards refining methods and have optimised this process it is not the only way. ARL are not using the normal method as such, they are filtering after HPAL before heading solution to refining process and not using CCD's for this process.
I have attached a link of a meeting between CLQ and the shire which displays current interaction and also answers a question regarding autoclave type. This I don't think has been posted before so is a good read on some of the progress.
