Bernhard, you remark about Hydrogen was interesting,it may be expensive to produce, well that was before nuclear perhaps? but one of the best methods for hydrogen production is to use the excess power from Nuclear power plants during off peak, that is when peak loading isn't occurring, Nuclear plants run at a constant output irrespective of whether there is a need (peak loading) or not,you cannot just switch them on and off, and hence when there isn't a requirement for power to the grid, the excess power can be used to produce hydrogen, so in a sense it is being produced cheaply perhaps? as that power would have been lost anyway, for you cannot store AC power, but in effect they have in some way? and Hydrogen may be the next fuel perhaps? is this what little Johnny had up his sleeve? but Labor will just bury their heads I suppose?

Did you know that Coal fired power stations have killed many many more people that Nuclear power ever has or probably ever will(discounting nuclear weapons of course) but I am told the latest reactors produce negligible amounts of weapons grade plutonium now!

And just looking at the at the Worlds Climate is perhaps ever likely to?
Nuclear is the fix IMHO to both Climate, and Clean Fuel, it's a genuine win win.
    Cheers M
