We really need a sustained news cycle to get the price moving upwards again...
Looking at the SP movement from the past year,,, if it's not going up, then it is slowly sold off.. And any risk of a price rise slowing or the risk of losing a few pips, then the $50k to $100k players put the sell orders in, and down it slowly goes.

I do feel it gets tightly held during short periods,,,usually after news or when news is expected, but if the waiting stretches to days/weeks, it's a given that SP will be dropping, and as others have mentioned, that is despite how good the news has been.

I keep having to remind myself fundamentals are good and growing, and ignore this short term stuff..
