Schmucky, I agree with you entirely, but this might help, it's an extract from today's "Marcus Today" newsletter:
- MUA – The company is yet to update the market on the takeover progress. The timetable is looking longer than anticipated. I emailed the chair yesterday for an update given the company takeover was supposed to be wrapped up in early September. Clearly some are getting nervous. He replied this morning. Actually amazed. The deal is on track, but the timetable has slipped due to the complexities of a Spanish company listed on the ASX being taken over by a Japanese company. Language issues apparently. The Scheme Booklet is currently with ASIC and once approved by them and the court, will be released to the market. The shareholders are expected to get to vote in early October. Good to get some clarification. Patience required it seems. Would have been nice to have the company announce this timetable slippage to the market.
