Can anyone shed some light for me on today's unusual trading pattern..to me it looks like a play-off between parties trying to push the price down, and others trying to keep it up through small sales. I haven't seen buys and sells like this before in UMC. Is there a regular, recognizable context in which this sort of calculated activity takes place?
Also, I would like to know more about how take-overs occur and how values are arrived at, can someone explain or point me in the direction of some reading?
