I'm thinking the roadshow is just another step in the process.
We retailers are currently doing our bit to push the SP along...as are some unidentified heavier hitters.
But to get the price "presentable" before the wafers are delivered and negotiations get serious, some bigger artillery is perhaps deemed appropriate.
We possibly won't initially recognise when the change in buying source arrives, but if it requires some extra due diligence it may be weeks yet before it hits. If it is as heavy as I suspect, we will eventually see the writing, though.
Whenever, it's already one hell of a ride. And I aim to enjoy it.
