Feelings amongst the Nendo landowners is adamantly against this mining project still. Anyone with a real understanding of the situation in Nende would not give them 25 cents for the project, let alone the Au$25 million they are talking about. The landowners will fight this project every inch of the way and it's also likely that the anti mining lobby will take power in Temotu at the next election, thus making it almost impossible for Pacific Bauxite to progress.
