I find there is good information and analysis in a number of the forums in HC. I like the critique that some people are willing to invest in. both those providing a positive view and those urging caution.
There are a number of knowledgeable people contributing to the discussion and I appreciate the effort they go to in providing their contributions, both for and against.
Like the longs and shorts, everyone has perspective of where things are heading in both the long and short term. In the Foreign Exchange trading world it is perfectly normal to short a pair and, as has been pointed out here for those willing to listen, we can't buy unless someone else sells. it's just a perspective and a strategy. I've held a number of new energy stocks for a number of years, through the ups and downs, including PLS / AJM and have a positive view of their future. I take advantage of the shorts when I can as we get closer to positive turnover. If they are willing to take the (what i think is a very high) risk in selling I am happy to help them by taking the other side of that transaction (cash permitting).
I try to ignore those that don't / can't engage in a civil discussion, relying on insult and sarcasm without actually contributing anything of value. I'm not a fan of putting someone on ignore because even the most idiotic amongst us can say something smart occasionally, or at least prompt a train of thought that is worthwhile.
But some of them just like to be noticed, like children who misbehave because any notice is better than no notice. You know the ones I mean, but I must say that some of them just quack me up.
