On the contrary, people are welcome to speculate on a situation like MSB.
But then it bemuses me when they complain - and, without substantiation, blame all manner of mythical manipulators and shorters - when that speculative activity does not deliver the outcomes for which they hoped.

As for larger reward for larger risk, it is my long-made observation that people tend to perceive reward as being larger than it ends up being; and risk being smaller than it invariably is... probably because it is human nature to want to think that way.

That isn't a personal criticism directed at anyone, or any group, in particular; it's just the nature of things.

For no better evidence of these sorts of innate emotional biases, go back and read some of the many gushingly-positive posts that have been made about none other than this company over the years... in which the risks - which had been downplayed or ignored - subsequently became manifest in the share price.
