I don't think the takeover was ever a real thing. It was manoeuvring.
Sure, if for some strange reason (a) the directors and (b) AF agreed to 6c and then (c) the s/h voted for it, then it would be real, but I just don't see how (a) and (b) would ever materialise in the current environment.
