Oil/gas sector for me would have been a disaster up until this year, although I have included Novus (NVS) in my top 10 stock list for the past two years. Only at the death did it reach its target, after smashing through it in 2002. If you could go back to the HC archives and check out Socdet in 1998 you would realise how tough things can get in the sector. The risk/reward in the majority of the speculative oil stocks does not stack up in terms of maintaining my client base, although some clients still have some HDR from the 5c-9c days and also when Shares ran a small article on how it should be considere a "Core spec oil play with significant upside". I went to a Hardman AGM in 1996 and they only needed four chairs for the occassion. Some of these events now are standing room only.

Noticed HER dropped off your list a fair while ago and was wondering why. Must say have been on a roll lately, however have seen it all before and the job is far from over. Should have a new piece or two out shortly.
