Anyone believes Wong and Fuziahs views on Lynas have changed are just kidding themselves.
They both view Lynas as a risky investment that should never have been allowed to build the LAMP in Malaysia, dumping large amounts of radioactive waste in their backyard for profit and will attempt to do whatever they can within the rule of law to right what they believe is a wrong. Now that means they will not be able to shut down the LAMP unless laws and regulations have been broken however doesn’t mean they can’t impose stricter conditions on Lynas licensing conditions.
What many here don’t understand is ACT 304 allows the AELB to make any changes they like to Lynas licensing conditions, whenever they like. All within the rule of law.
