The first thing that strikes me is that you and I are not talking about the same thing. The accounts you cite are drawn up to some date prior to 11 Nov 03 (possibly 30 June 03) whereas my figures come from statements made by HHG after it had been restructured in Dec 03.
Your statements about HHG only having net assets of 155m pounds and negative tangible assets of 310m pounds etc may have been correct at some point in the past but things have changed and HHG is now a completely different animal.
HHG now say they have in excess of 1.5b pounds of net assets and minimal external debt and therefore it probably is worth $1.40 or so per share as advised by a number of analysists here in Australia.
