Mark Calderwood / Force Majeure

Being a reasonably new shareholder in Tawana, early 2018, i have been impressed by their speed to production and thought i would take a quick look into the story behind the Bald Hill mine.

We know about the AMAL / TAW amalgamation presently taking place but how did this come about.
AMAL listed on the SGX in July 2014. They had the rights to Bald Hill to mine Tantalite and obtained approval from the WA Government in Oct 2014. This appears to be the only win they ever had. The company was a complete shambles, enough said.

A fellow with the name, Mark Calderwood, who as we know has intimate knowledge of this Bald Hill area and its Pegmatites becomes the CEO of Tawana 13/07/2016. Immediately Cowan and Yallari are incorporated into Tawana. Also on the 3 nov 2016 a binding term sheet agreement between AMAL and Lithco no 2 occurs. ( Tawana).

Forward to 2017. January exploration produces promising results.
February, Farm in arrangement.
June, finalize JV Earns into lithium rights at Bald Hill.

Now we have to understand that the new venture is the baby of and will be completely under the leadership of Mark Calderwood. AMAL has no expertise in mining, was very fortuitous to have picked Bald Hill and was a company imploding with infighting amongst its directors. Appears that the new CEO of AMAL Pauline Gately was probably the only person in the company capable of stitching up the amalgamation. All Tawana wanted was the Tenement, Bald Hill.

The workload in one year to created a producing mine and include amalgamating a Corporate Mess (AMAL) with Tawana beggers belief.

Those who have been here longer than me will have a far greater knowledge so i hope i have gotten close to the facts to produce the Tawana Lithium story succinctly.
