Are there situations when I can’t place a Day Short Open order?

Day Short Selling is not permitted in the following circumstances:

You are an associate of the company whose stock is to be sold.
The price for the Day Short Open order is lower than the last sale price for the stock.
It is the last day of trading in a stock cum entitlement (such as dividends, rights or bonuses).
The company is under an offer of takeover.
10% of the issued shares in the company are already short sold.
The stock is not an ASX Approved Security for short selling.
