The us has to also include JT. Most shareholders would not be subject to margin calls. JT might have been.
For the regulators to allow this sort of shenanigans on the stock market absolutely stinks imo.
The regulators MUST insist that shares put up as collateral for a margin loan must be held in trust by the margin loan lender and CANNOT be lent out to another party.
