Mogga: the Hungarians of yore put huge pressure on their minorities to learn and speak Hungarian and you maybe right in what you heard about its Parliament, but in reality in the old days of the Austro-Hungarian times they were very dominant, thereby stopping the Slavs (Moravia, Slovakia, Roumanians etc.) to have equal rights to them - they (Hungarians) were equal to the German-speaking part of the Austro-Hung. emp, because they were so nationalistic - my own in-laws who are a mix of Slovak/Hungarian are a good example of that, although they never analysed or even thought about it - their preferred language was 'Hungarian', although they were from the Bratislava area (which at one stage was Hungarian, but is Slavic).
I am glad though, that they put up some resistance against the Muslims. Most of Europe is waking up that they have imported a huge problem; it may not be too late.
But going back just a few hundred, not even a thousand, years, Hungarians were the immigrants into Europe, supplanting the local Slavic people, or just absorbing them.
Mankind has been on the move since time immemorial. Nowadays the masses are greater, the movement is swifter because of modern means of transportation.
It is a huge problem, initially caused by the wars of the West on the Middle East; mainly America's need to be top dog and take away the old Empire of the Brits (which also fits neatly with their 'economic' advantage).
Perhaps it will be a good thing for the European nations to re-think who they are, what their values stand for, maybe for their males to re-gain their 'manhood' too, but that's a whole other issue; perhaps exposure to the West is a good thing for the Muslims too, whose religion needs reform real badly - but too many immigrants is simply not a good thing and allowing them to form 'ghettos' is bad policy IMO (but again a natural thing to do for immigrants to any country).
There will be many a small and not so small battle being fought; especially at the poorer levels of society, the poor always bear the brunt of change.
BUT we will have to face many more problems in this century and legislation and law enforcement will be the way to go - and expect to see more violence, sadly; but first of all we have to stop the wars in the Middle East.
