#1 Taxi App (NOT including ridesharing apps which are the reason for their downfall). #1 in a industry in decay and also in an industry where they run the 'taxi' monopoly is clutching at straws.

Revenue Up (of course, they purchased this revenue by buying Yellow Cabs).

EPS is down and margins down (again). This is the real story and what drives the share price. Not revenue or other metrics.

Their payout ratio on the dividend they should be cutting is crazy and not sustainable. Unless they can get into profit next div reporting period, they have to cut and share price will tank.

Even "Employee benefits expenses" on the income statement is going up. I think this is due to long term drivers leaving and cashing in their benefits. Correct me if I'm wrong of course.

The only other metric to drive share price growth is the story that there is a turn around coming. All I see is a fight between many incoming ride sharing groups (Didi, Taxify, etc..), who have raised a LOT of money as smart money knows this is the future of personal transport. Even without Uber (unlikely) look at the macro economic picture. Why would a market, growing by the day, switch back to using Taxi's once they have used Uber and other services with better service and prices?

The best result for CAB is that the down trend and slows and plateaus and maybe they can keep a small market share. Even if this happens, the price will hover at much lower prices if this were to happen. Mass exodus of drivers of course would occur and erosion of market cap.

Buy at your own peril of course, but there are a myrid of companies to invest in and this one I see as fools gold. It is fighting an uphill battle.

Dead cat bounce today post results 'bargain hunting'. Technical set up for the start of the next down trend.
