Just looking at the 2 photos and 1 section in the announcement it looks like they intersected the breccia pipes somewhere near the base or just below the chalcocite blanket. The core has some pitting indicating some minor weathering or leaching of minerals has occurred. The bornite looks to occur in the pits so possibly a lot of other copper sulphides have been leached out and the breccias have contributed to the chalcocite blanket which is common. They mentioned chalcocite as well.
In saying this, the rest of the core is looking fresh as a daisy so exposure to the secondary supergene zone overhead has been minimal. The fresh looking chalcopyrite can attest to that.
If those pits were originally primary copper sulphides, the increase in grade with depth of the pipes looks promising. Between hole 24 and the breccia pipes I have a renewed positive outlook that it will be found somewhere in between.
