What i can't understand is no one has picked up that on the fact mns is really funding the whole NY battery factory, through the investment in cv4.

If you go back and look at the announcement of when imperuim 3 bought the second hand battery plant, the split for the money was 50% mns, 50% cv4. A month or so later, mns announced there investment in cv4 for 10m, with half of it up front, just in time for cv4 to pay it's share by the deadline.
