I listened to part of Angus Taylor's speech before tuning out due to his inability to get to the point.
If anybody else listened all way to the bitter end , could they tell me what they thought of it.
For me it sounded more like getting the votes back than actually doing something NOW!
The little that I know of young Angus hasn't impressed me to date as he is part of the trendy set that believes in a "Big Australia For The Sake Of It" but with out articulating a valid reason for it.
Alan Jones adores him, which if you listen to Alan regularly as I do, then you will know that that mere fact is a huge warning bell ....... see below:
Julia Gillard ...... "very intelligent"
Josh Frydenberg........ "very intelligent"
Cormann.......... "very intelligent"
Bla bla bla ........."very intelligent"
The truth of it is, that when Alan is "as wet as a lake" (that's a line from Little Britain) about some new fantastic duck's guts politician then it's time to lay the cockroach bate.
Would be interested in other people's take on him.

Listen for the dog whistle as they try and convince everyone that They're on your side . They will be for and against renewables and for and against new coal power stations depending on their audience.
The real proplem is the privatisation of the poles and wires as generation costs don't vary that much between coal and renewables. The production cost is only about 22% whilst transmission costs are nearly 50% https://www.cleanenergycouncil.org.au/policy-advocacy/electricity-prices.html
