serg, a few posts back you said > yes you can borrow someone else's stock and sell it on market....that's why the hedge funds have the stock mkt by the short and curlies... The lender receives a fee for lending out his stock, but it can back fire if the price goes against him and he's forced to sell because of margin calls. It gets real interesting when the seller cant settle because the borrower says he would rather pay a fine than give the stock back. Then the broker is in trouble....Enter Tricom and most lately Bear Stearns. unquote> it certainly looks you were correct, - someone is trying to buy back stock right now urgently, and having difficulty to get it. the s/p has risen from approx 5.5c up to 7.9c and if you look at the market depth there`s only 13 sellers with 874,275 shares, as against 45 buyers wanting 2,746,090 shares. its a complete reversal of when they were selling down. and someone is in deep trouble trying to get these cus shares back. it seems to me there may be some good news looming about cus, maybe cashcard, cash return for china venture, or maybe NZ atm`s, or maybe more partners to place atm`s in. whatever it is, someone is desperately seeking to buy stock. i`m in cus up to my neck, but i`m going to buy more.
