Now that we all know what has happened here we should focus on getting things into perspective and the first thing we should do is change the current thread.
Solarmind are in trouble but there could be opportunities here for the company.
There is no way that ANZ will dump 40% of the company but will look for an orderly disposal. The parcel may not be able to be sold in one hit as it exceeds the 19.9% takeover thresholds.
There must be many Australian pharmaceutical companies more than willing to pick up these shares. If not, Dr Victoria, their newly appointed head of marketing could talk to Menarini about taking up the shares.
This could actually turn in to an opportunity for SLA sharholders.
