I am both a GBG holder and SLA holder and so have been closely monitoring the whole situation from a GBG stand-point (as I was aware of their involvement prior to any SLA involvement with Opes). Similar kind of set-up at GBG shares owned by Mellewar (major shareholder) had a Opes Prime Facility. Although this may be slightly different in that from reading through the SLA threads? Please advise.
It may well be possible that SLA will do the same as GBG and be granted an injunction to stop ANZ selling the shares (although some shares have already been sold). GBG (check the thread and co. announcements) are alternatively I believe endeavouring to negotiate with the Receivers & ANZ to sell the shares to interested sophisticated/institutional buyers.
Will SLA follow?
