Nobody was ready to pay more than $1.50 for Affimed before last week either (62 million shares) and then Roche signed Affimed to deal for their immunotherapy cancer drug pipe with $96 million up front and up to $5 billion in future milestones. Then Affimed shot up to over $7. Can you imagine what impact a large deal like that would have on Immuron, which has only 3.53 million shares and will never have many shares, as they burned only $3 million last year, have rapidly growing revenues in Travelan, and the stock price is already $10?
