Puffin still pumps 3000~4000 barrels a day. If FPSO stops working, there should be an announcement.
The flow rate can not be higher, otherwise the offlaod has been taken.
I think SINOPEC is interested in oil field itself, but not the current production. They are an elephant and such a small cash flow and 4000 barrels a day is meanless to them.
New wells will be drilled in Puffin NE, but not fixing Puffin 7 and 8. I am afraid one well is dead.
Water cone should not be a problem to SINOPEC. Their largest oil field in China pumps more than 90% water and less than 10% oil, and has been working for more than 30 years. Oil production is steady and goes on.
