Hard to put a bad spin on directors buying on market. Ever. But good point.
I do not believe there is an official closed period prior to price sensitive news. From memory it's only that ; in this case, on Sept 3 maurice was not aware of any information that would be classified as price sensitive.
However if something happened on the 4th, then all clear....so could be immediate...or not...funny hey..
Agree though, probably a week or so before any price sensitive news. Also, what the ASX deems as price sensitive is pretty random.
But who knows. All imo.
