People are saying this was just a result of AFR article. It only really started going up after about an hour. And it doesnt appear to have been mums and dads as the volumes were quite large and it didnt come from comsec. So i think it is highly unlikely that a big insto boss was sitting around sipping his coffee at 11am this morning and came across an AFR article on pg 54 and based on that decided to throw 10's of millions into CNP.

My opinion anyway :)
