Celsius Resources announced today the next drilling results and again the company was able to land well outside the previously known resource ( Link ).

The best way to see the progress is in the following map. In the east, the existing JORC resources and to the west of it the zone that has been explored with new wells:

Once again, the high continuity of the mineralization is confirmed. The cobalt content mostly over 0.12% plus copper at around half a percent and this again over a strike length of about 3 kilometers in a westerly direction.

All of these results will feed into a new resource calculation to be completed in Q4. Drilling on the western section is now nearly complete and Celsius will then move the drill into the existing resource area.

Then the drilling distances are reduced (in-fill-drilling) to improve the categories of the respective resource categories.

The scoping study will be ready by the end of October:

Conclusion :

The area is a monster and over miles of continuous cobalt copper deposits. The previously defined 112 million tonnes should then be exceeded again with the study in the 4th quarter.

For me, this all points to a very long-lived project, which can be a solid source for large companies in the battery sector for several decades. Interest in cobalt and lithium stocks is currently near zero or below.
