Carbon is a very useful element, and its applications are going to be very relevant in new markets.
A few months ago, Woodside was quoted as saying they want to produce hydrogen from natural gas, and then either bury the carbon or make it into carbon fibre or application in 3D printing.
We know woodside know about Hazer so this comment could be referring to us.
MIN are using carbon fibre to make new machinery.
And very interestingly, Woodside are looking at technology using 3D printers to make parts on site, instead of having to ship them around the world when needed. These parts would be most likely using graphite to produce high strength parts.
I can imagine Woodisde producing hydrogen onsite and keeping the graphite for their own use in 3d printing.
Anyway, all I am saying is that the applications for graphite are enormous, and the barrier to its growth has been supply, so we are likely to see the market grow along with demand.
