While it’s disappointing to see any large shareholder reduce their exposure in Geoff’s case I’d imagine that he’s needs to proactively sell a few to at minimum cover the conversion of his options later this year. Being unemployed likely has an impact on his ability to fund conversion. Also worth noting is that what he has sold he’s done so with some regard for the wider shareholder base rather than dumping like a scorned school kid.
On the bright side he sold at an avg of 28c so whoever picked up what he was putting down is up 18% at today’s close or 31% at the recent high. Without a few sellers we would lack the liquidity to make any meaningful moves. Hazers current management are bringing the required liquidity in the form of buyers, a few offloading allow new blood to acquire meaningful positions. I’m hopeful that GP will offload a few more (preferably off market at a discount) to allow a few sticky holders to get set.
